A limited-edition aged rum finished with the elegance of Pineau des Charentes influence. The nose is deep and refined, showing dried apricot, raisin, honey, oak, vanilla. The palate is rich and layered, with soft molasses, toasted oak, grape sweetness, dried orchard fruit, spice and subtle nutty notes. The Pineau finish brings extra roundness, length and a delicate wine-cask sweetness.
The finish is long, smooth and elegant, with lingering notes of honeyed fruit, oak spice, vanilla and dried grape.
This expression is also an ode to Pacto Navio, a rum that inspired the idea of linking Caribbean rum character with French wine-cask elegance.
For BaBin, the connection felt natural: a rum rooted in French family heritage, reimagined in New Zealand, and finished with a cask influence that brings depth, generosity and refinement. The Pineau des Charentes finish adds a distinctly French signature, softening the rum’s oak structure while lifting its fruit, honey and dried grape notes.
