Otago Farmers Market presents: MEET THE MAKER SERIES - Feast on Fungi with Coastal Kaps

Coastal Kaps was established in 2018 with the objective of growing premium quality mushroom sustainably. Michelle and Shane are passionate about growing mushrooms and providing others with the health benefits and eco-friendly protein that mushrooms offer. They like to think of them as Natures original ‘smart drug’! Mushrooms are jam-packed full of essential nutrients and antioxidants. Being high in Vitamin D and Iron, low in calories and help to improve immune function.

Based in Karitane which is reknowned for its scenic beauty, golden beach, tranquil environment, Michelle and Shane are thankful to be able to live and produce natural food in this amazing place.
